Ranhill, together with its subsidiaries Ranhill Technologies and Ranhill SAJ, strengthened its
commitment to sustainability and biodiversity conservation through a Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) program at Tanjung Piai National Park, Johor. Located at the southernmost
tip of mainland Asia, Tanjung Piai was home to one of Malaysia’s largest mangrove forests, which
played a crucial role in protecting coastal areas from erosion, creating habitats for marine and
terrestrial species, and combating climate change. The initiative involved hands-on activities such
as mangrove planting, seeding, and a clean-up drive, with the goal of contributing to the long-term sustainability of these vital ecosystems and promoting environmental responsibility. Through
such efforts, Ranhill continued to drive positive change and foster a greener, more sustainable
future.

Low Carbon Operating System (LCOS) Symposium 2024
The LCOS Symposium 2024, held at the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change
Corporation, successfully brought together approximately 120 attendees, including
representatives from SMEs, financial institutions, government agencies, and water operators.
This key event provided an invaluable platform for networking and knowledge-sharing, allowing
participants to engage with industry leaders, technology experts, and innovators. Industry
professionals gained valuable insights into the latest advancements in LCOS technology and
engaged in substantive discussions on how these innovations enhanced efficiency, sustainability,
and drove progress across multiple sectors.

A Wave of Change – Beach & Mangrove Cleaning
The CSR initiative at Kampung Sungai Melayu Beach emphasized a strong commitment to
environmental sustainability. Volunteers from various backgrounds came together to clean the
beaches and mangrove areas, removing waste and pollutants that threatened local ecosystems.
The event helped preserve biodiversity, restore the coastline's natural beauty, and foster a deeper
sense of environmental stewardship. This impactful initiative was led by Pengurusan Aset Air
