KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): Ranhill Utilities Bhd has announced a first interim dividend of 0.5 sen per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022.
The dividend will be paid on Jan 18, with Jan 3 as the ex-date and Jan 4 as entitlement date, the group said in a bourse filing on Friday (Dec 16).
Ranhill Utilities had reported a 9.4% increase in net profit to RM9.32 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2022, from RM8.52 million a year earlier.
Quarterly revenue rose 14% to RM434 million from RM380.6 million helped by revenue contribution from its newly acquired subsidiaries such as Ranhill Worley Sdn Bhd and Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd for its engineering services segment, higher energy payment fuel revenue from Ranhill Powertron Sdn Bhd and Randhill Powertron II Sdn Bhd, and the recognition of Large Scale Solar 4 revenue in Ranhill Solar I Sdn Bhd.
Ranhill Utilities' share price closed unchanged at 44 sen on Friday), giving the group a market capitalisation of RM570.2 million.
