(Kuala Lumpur, 3rd) Asian stock markets generally rose this morning, and the Malaysian stock market also rose. As of 10:24, the FBM KLCI was at 1429.15 points, up 6.56 points or 0.46%.

The KLCI opened higher at 1426.77 points this morning and rose to 1431.88 points in the intraday session. There were 461 rising stocks, 209 declining stocks and 295 stocks were flat. In the first 1.5 hours, 938.39 million shares were traded, with a turnover of RM388.2 million.

This morning, 3 companies announced that they suspended trading in the first hour. Among them, MN Holdings (MNHLDG, 0245, GEM) signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Deheng Data on April 1 to cooperate in exploring Build a data center. In line with the above corporate activities, MN Holdings suspended trading for 1 hour in early trading. At 10 o'clock, the stock price rose by 0.5 sen or 1.64% to 31 sen, with a turnover of 6.46 million shares.

Ranhill (RANHILL, 5272, main board utility stocks) also announced that it has been notified by the Energy Commission that it has won the bid for the new power generation projects required in 2024 on the Sabah coast. After the resumption of trading, Ranhill rose 0.5 cents or 1.02% to 49.5 cents, with a turnover of 1.11 million shares.

In addition, Lin Bo Sheng Group (LBS, 5789, main board industry stocks) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Sany Group to explore the use of the latter's construction system for real estate projects. After the resumption of trading, the stock rose sharply, rising 12 cents to 52 cents at one point.
