Skills and Experiences:
An Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) by profession, Datuk Seri served the Malaysian civil service for over thirty-five (35) years, specialising in economics and finance, public sector strategic management, and digital government. Over the course of his career, he held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department, Langkawi Development Authority, and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. He was the Director General of the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) from 2020 to 2023, after serving as Deputy Director General
He is currently a Commissioner of the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC), a Board Member of Yayasan Taqwa Wilayah Persekutuan, and a member of the AntiCorruption Advisory Board (ACAB) of the Malaysian AntiCorruption Commission (MACC) for a three-year term from 15 July 2025 to 14 July 2028. He also sits on the Boards of Green Packet Berhad and Awanbiru Technology Berhad, both listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
